All hackers will:

  • Identify as Female or as a marginalized gender
  • Be currently enrolled as a student in a High School or College Program (Undergraduate or Graduate)

3) Be Kind and Courteous - Everybody is entitled to their own opinions, ideas and thoughts. Please do not attack anyone if they don't think the same as you. Be open-minded and positive to all; treat others how you'd like to be treated.

4) No Hate Speech or Bullying - This is a 100% safe environment. Bullying of any kind is not allowed and will not be tolerated.

5) Respect Everyone's Privacy - Remember your netiquette.

6) No NSFW content of any kind in text channels, voice channels, and user profiles.

Our hackathon is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of the following:

  • gender
  • gender identity and expression
  • age
  • sexual orientation
  • disability
  • physical appearance
  • body size
  • race
  • ethnicity
  • nationality
  • religion
  • political views
  • previous hackathon attendance or lack of
  • computing experience or lack of
  • chosen programming language or tech stack

We do not tolerate harassment of hackathon participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate at any hackathon venue, this includes the following.

  • hacks
  • talks, presentations, or demos
  • workshops
  • any parties associated to the hackathon
  • social media
  • any other online media

Hackathon participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the hackathon at the discretion of the hackathon organizers.
